Eisenhower assistance priorities and Get Things Done [iOS]

Eisenhower-logo A few weeks ago I was pleased to see Eisenpower productivity applications for Mac that allows you to manage your tasks in order of priority. Eisenpower Eisenhower matrix to help you get things done more efficiently. Today I received Eisenhower review, a similar application for the iPhone that also use the Eisenhower matrix.

Eisenhower help you prioritize your tasks by urgency and importance. It then goes further and allows you to focus on what really needs to be done by limiting the number of tasks that you can add. In addition, he has a special time that you can use to help you focus on one task for just 30 minutes.

Here is a closer look at Eisenhower for the iPhone.

Started After installing and opening Eisenhower on your iPhone (or other iOS device), you can immediately start adding tasks. There are four different “leaves” to add the task to:

do first – For tasks that are urgent and important strong

Schedule – For tasks the strong less urgent but important

Delegation – For tasks that are urgent but less important strong Do – For tasks that are not urgent and unimportant strong

Tapping on a number (in the bottom of the application) allows you to switch sheets if necessary Just type in the text box at the top of the leaves to add tasks to the selected sheet. . remember, you can add up to 8 tasks per sheet -. This is a total of 32 tasks for all the pieces

Focus Mode
. Enable mode Eisenhower for iOS.

To do this, just click the small clock icon next to the task you have entered, and the timer display. Once you click the play button, the timer starts. You can also stop the stopwatch or fast forward to the end if necessary

. While it may not force you to stop what you’re doing on your computer, laptop, anywhere, at least you won ‘t be able to do anything on your iPhone (or any iOS device, you may be using)

Note: .. This feature only works on the first sheet (1)

Programming and Emailing
Task Scheduling and add it to your iOS calendar.

click on the calendar icon next to the task and gave Eisenhower permission to access your calendar. then you will be able to add events to your calendar. For this event, you can add a room, make a warning, select the calendar you want to add, configure availability and even add a note

Note: .. This feature only works on the sheet (number 2)

For urgent tasks but less important, you can send it to yourself or others please click. on the arrow next to the task of preparing a new letter asking the recipient to handle the job for you. It is really great to delegate smaller tasks so you can focus on the important tasks that larger and / or more

. Delegate tasks Eisenhower.

Note:. This feature only works on the delegate sheet (number 3)

management tasks Eisenhower also has some cool features to help you manage your tasks and leaves. For example, you can press and hold anywhere on the task of making mobile phone. means that you can move around your tasks in order to better manage them

. Drag and drop to organize your tasks.

You can even use the function task is to move from one page to another -. scroll to the number of copies you want to move to

To mark a task as completed, drag your finger on the cross as if something on a piece of paper. This will delete the task, then you can click on the “x” that appears next to it, if you want to remove it completely if you have changed your mind, simply drag your finger in the opposite direction to cancel out the cons ..

Final Thoughts There’s no doubt about Eisenhower certainly a useful productivity applications for iOS. There are so many features and the fact that you can manipulate each set of tasks, it’s really impressive. My only complaint is that the application is not universally (not optimized for iPad), so I had to use the iPhone version on my iPad 2 Fortunately, universal or iPad version will be available soon ..

What do you think Eisenhower? Do you use this app or a similar application in, iPod Touch or iPad iPhone
